Born in Western Uganda, Vee Muka is the first African women to own and operate a high fashion modeling agency in the United States.  Vee came from a very large family with seven sisters and five brothers.  Growing up in such a sizeable family presented challenges that required a sort of strength that goes beyond the norm.  Perseverance, self confidence and team work are all qualities that evolved from the daily rigors of her family life. It so happens that these are also qualities vital for success in the fashion industry.  After arriving in the United States, Vee began working as a professional runway model. Her years on the runway taught Vee the fundamentals of the fashion industry, and Vmodels was formed in 2000 in the fashion capital of world, New York City.  Vee has become a presence in the world of business and media marketing.  Her agency, Vmodels, is a premier modeling agency representing hundreds of models in all divisions: High fashion for both men and women, runway, kids, plus size, sophisticated, commercial / Print / TV / Film.  And Vee still models for the right assignments, including runway, print, TV and Film.
